Ifeoma Irokwe, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with 7 years in advanced practice and 20+ years as a registered nurse. At Effulgence Psychiatry, she provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and life coaching. Faith-based psychotherapy is available upon request.

What to expect

Initial evaluation (60–90 minutes): History, current concerns, goals, and initial treatment plan

Follow-ups (20–45 minutes): Progress review, medication adjustments, therapy, and skills support

Collaborative care: With your consent, coordination with your other providers or school

Faith-based option

For clients who desire it, Ifeoma integrates faith and spirituality into psychotherapy while maintaining clinical best practices. All care remains evidence-based; faith integration is optional.

Policies

Cancellation and no-show policy:

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) or no-shows will be charged a $75 fee.

This fee is not covered by insurance and must be paid before scheduling future appointments.


Forms and documentation (FMLA and similar):

Eligibility: To complete FMLA paperwork, you must be an active patient and seen for at least 90 days.

Fees: An administrative fee applies and depends on the number of pages and complexity.

Payment and timing: Fees are due prior to completion. Standard processing time is [e.g., 5–7 business days] after payment and receipt of all required information.
